How to celebrate New Year's Eve 2009/2010
Had a lovely evening at Nocton with friends D & B and Carol's mother. We ate well, watched a little TV, chatted a lot and saw the New Year in with a glass of Champagne. Parfait!

A novel from Nocton.........
We’re often told “there’s a novel in all of us just waiting to get told”.Well, mine can’t be that keen because it isn’t pressing me at all to come out - like some new energised babe into this old world.
No - mine is hidden away and just wants to stay there, untold and unlived and even unloved.
Now in my case it could just be laziness. I’ve only ever done that which will get me by and not a centimeter more. And it’s been easy living like that in the semi darkness just doing enough, just doing well, not totally committed, not flat out.It doesn’t get a novel or even a poem written but it’s a very safe island where nothing scary can happen to you.
Could it be that all that changes at Nocton. Will the New Year bring a break-through?
